  • The Neighborhood

Mission Bay lies just across Mission Creek from the San Francisco Giants baseball stadium, with its lively foot traffic, clubs and cafes. Formerly a salt marsh and lagoon, this redeveloped neighborhood has blossomed into a lively mixed commercial area filled with bio-tech companies, hospitals, and high-rise luxury condominiums. As a gentle reminder of the area’s past, more than 20 colorfully painted houseboats are moored in Mission Creek.

  • What To Expect

With good access to public transportation and entertainment, Mission Bay appeals to both singles and empty-nesters. It’s easy to commute anywhere from Mission Bay. Residents can arrive to jobs downtown by bicycling or walking along the waterfront, or taking Muni.

  • Lifestyle

Mission Bay’s close proximity to the waterfront offers easy access to the outdoors. Residents can walk, run or bicycle along the bay all the way to the Golden Gate Bridge. The nearby Ferry Building, with its farmers’ market, locally sourced eateries, and unique food purveyors, is a scenic streetcar ride or short walk.

  • The Market

Mission Bays’ current and planned architecture is ultra modern, including luxurious condos, and avant-garde urban parks and public places. Many condos have spectacular views of the bay.
