The Neighborhood
Mission Bay lies just across Mission Creek from the San Francisco Giants baseball stadium, with its lively foot traffic, clubs and cafes. Formerly a salt marsh and lagoon, this redeveloped neighborhood has blossomed into a lively mixed commercial area filled with bio-tech companies, hospitals, and high-rise luxury condominiums. As a gentle reminder of the area’s past, more than 20 colorfully painted houseboats are moored in Mission Creek.
