What To Expect
Buena Vista and Ashbury Heights’ tree-lined streets are primarily residential. Access to public transportation is excellent, with Muni light-rail and bus lines nearby. Understandably, Ashbury Heights is especially appealing to young professionals.

In the evenings, residents head downhill to neighboring Cole Valley for cozy cafes, restaurants and bars. For those who desire to eat at home, several neighborhood groceries offer specialty prepared foods, local produce and fresh flowers as well as home-delivery. Active residents climb the hill to Buena Vista Park, which offers secluded, winding trails and expansive views of the city, the Golden Gate Bridge and Angel Island. Corona Heights Park, also nearby, has some of the best views of downtown, as well as basketball and tennis courts.
